Favorite Books and Blogs -- Fitness & Lifestyle
If you're looking for inspiration and a reason to get outta bed and hit the gym each morning, these blogs will do the trick. While I like to workout solo, I find it incredibly motivating to follow other people's progress and workouts. These are just a few of my favorites.
This chick is crazy motivating. She's a runner, uses weights at her gym and eats clean, but she's honest about her weekend "Faturdays" and her rinking so you never feel like her goals are unattainable in real life. Her progress picks are awesome and her body is super toned. Plus she is always posting on Instagram and staying connected.
She calls it a jumble of fitness and fashion. I call it an index of kick ass home workouts. She is always coming up with creative ways to get toned at home, without a gym membership. I guarantee you've seen her on Pinterest and if you're not following her, you're missing out.
If you've ever wondered what it's like to run an ultra-marathon this is the blog for you. Jen is an out-of-this-world runner and her short runs are in the 20 mile range. Her races are 50K+. It's nothing short of impressive and even though she is known throughout the racing community and spoonsored by some big name brands, she's the most humble chick. I've had the pleasure of meeting her and getting to know her and she's one of the kindest people out there.
She's super well-known in the weight-loss blog world and she has a really loyal fan base. Mostly because she has lost weight twice after pregnancy and looks amazing. Now she's more in a maintenance mode so she throws in a lot of fashion giveaways, but if you are looking for motivation, check out her before and afters.
Best friends with Mama Laughlin and a very similar type of blog. Her perkiness and dedication to the gym is unreal and she posts on Instagram a lot.
Just an adorable girl who loves dogs and trains for runs of all distances. She's completed marathons and is definitely in another league than I am, but I find her really relatable because she goes through ups and downs with running and shares how she builds back up in her distance and speed when she goes from a down to an up. Plus, her dogs are just plain cute.
